Core Curriculum Review

In alignment with For the Greater Good, Loyola’s strategic plan, the University is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Core Curriculum. This effort complements the program array review and focuses on ensuring that the Core continues to serve students and advance Loyola’s mission.

The initial phase evaluates how well the current Core—implemented in 2012—meets the needs of students, with an emphasis on listening through faculty and student input across the University.

If recommended, a second phase would involve the development and campus-wide consideration of revised Core models, leading to a proposed curriculum and implementation plan grounded in Ignatian reflection.
