Program Array Review
As part of Loyola’s strategic priorities, the University is conducting a comprehensive review of its academic program array to ensure alignment with our mission, student needs, and long-term sustainability.
This effort is not about identifying “bad” programs, but about discernment between goods—making careful decisions about where to continue, invest, restructure, or, in some cases, sunset programs so the University can appropriately resource those that best serve our students and the world.
A faculty-led workgroup is guiding this process, which includes developing shared assessment criteria, reviewing program data, and making initial designations, with opportunities for appeal and future planning built into the timeline.
