Resources for Reflection

Resources for Reflection Series - Parts I, II, and II

This resource is a three-part series designed to help students build the foundational skills necessary for meaningful reflection in service-learning. Grounded in the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm and evidenced-based practices of critical reflection, each part of the series explores a different phase of reflection.  Part I focuses on the skills of observation and curiosity, Part II centers on developing self-awareness and critical thinking, and Part III encourages students to engage reflection as an ongoing, future-oriented process. You can find more resources on reflection here

Ignatian Critical Reflection Guide

This guide is meant to help educators utilize and deepen reflection in their courses. It is in no way exhaustive and rather meant to assist with deepening pedagogy and encourage further curiosity into both Ignatian Pedagogy and the scholarship of reflection in teaching and learning. It is meant as a practical tool for instructors and to begin a conversation of what an application of Ignatian Pedagogy to Critical Reflection practices could look like.
