Thank you for agreeing to speak with MGMT 377: Family Business Management

We’re excited to welcome you to our MGMT 377 cohort! Below are some helpful details to make your visit smooth.

Location

Loyola's Water Tower Campus, Schreiber Center – 16 E. Pearson, Room 405
- For directions and parking info, click here.
- Check in at the security desk with a government-issued ID. Your name will be on the Family Business Center guest list.
- Turn left when exiting the elevators on the 4th floor.

Schedule

- The session begins with a family-style dinner at 4:00 p.m.
- Followed by your remarks starting at 4:15 p.m. lasting about 20 minutes, then about 10 minutes of Q&A ending at around 4:45 p.m.
- Please let us know if you or any guest joining you have dietary restrictions.
- Drinks are not provided, so bring a water bottle or beverage.

- Brief history of your family’s business
- What your company does
- How you became involved
- Experiences working in the business
- What fuels your passion
- Feel free to use the class syllabus as a guide when preparing your ideas or explore a different direction if you’d like!

Student Questions

Students are required to ask questions to keep the conversation engaging. Examples include:
- How do you balance tradition and culture with innovation?
- What makes you most proud when reflecting on your company’s legacy?
- How do you manage family relationships outside the business?
