MPH program jumps in U.S. News rankings

Top 30% Public Health Graduate Program in the Nation, 2026

The Master of Public Health is #63 in the nation, an improvement of 21 positions from last year’s ranking.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program within the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health ranks among the top 30% in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report, 2026.

The program is #63 in the nation, an improvement of 21 positions from last year’s ranking. In addition, the MPH was named to The Princeton Review Best Online Master of Public Health for 2026 list.

“The significant upward movement of the MPH is a strong endorsement of our work to prepare public health leaders who are committed to health equity,” says Elaine Morrato, dean of the Parkinson School. “We are providing a transformative education, supported by our leading faculty and embedded in Chicago.”

The 2026 U.S. News & World Report graduate programs rankings were released on April 7, 2026.
