Bailey Cowart is the Lab Manager and Safety Officer for the School of Environmental Sustainability. She coordinates research and teaching lab spaces, operates and maintains analytical instruments for researchers, and trains students in lab safety and best lab practices. Bailey received her BA and MS from Boston University, specializing in ecology and conservation biology. Her research focused on water and nutrient use in red maples across geographic ranges as well as differing stomatal arrangement across the maple genus.
