Chris Sienza, MS
Director, First and Second Year Advising
A bit about Chris:
- Where is your hometown? Elgin, IL
- What’s one highlight from your first semester of college? I really enjoyed the opportunity to live on my own for the first time and eat whatever I wanted!
- What do you wish you’d known when you started college? How important it is to have a pathway for yourself in mind. It’s okay to change course, but constantly explore your interests and engage with community groups and events. Find what really excites you and then pursue it.
- What do you like about advising first and second year students? Helping them explore and find those passions as described above!
- What’s your favorite thing about Loyola? The campus is beautiful and brings back fond memories of my time at a small liberal arts program at Augustana. The people are passionate about what they do and invested in student’s education.
- What’s your favorite thing about Chicago? The food scene is absolutely incredible.
- What do you like to do in your spare time? We have two adorable dogs, Peyton and Augie, who my wife and I take on weekend adventures whenever possible. I also enjoy video games, biking, hiking, and am looking to become a more avid paddle boarder.
