A bit about Caitl...

  • Where is your hometown? Grosse Pointe, MI
  • What’s one highlight from your first semester of college? I loved getting to explore a whole new city and campus!
  • What do you wish you’d known when you started college? Never hesitate to ask for help or use the support available to you; in fact, knowing when to reach out for help is an important skill to learn!
  • What do you like about advising first and second year students? Helping people has always made me happy, and I like being able to use my higher ed experience to help new students build the skills that will help them succeed.
  • What’s your favorite thing about Loyola? The neighborhood! I’d been living in Rogers Park for years before I started working at Loyola, and I love it dearly.
  • What’s your favorite thing about Chicago? It’s hard to pick just one thing, but I am a huge fan of the Chicago Art Institute. I especially love to visit the Modern Wing and the Thorne Miniature Rooms.
  • What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to craft (mostly fiber arts and miniatures), play video games, watch weird and unusual movies, and collect fancy pens!
