Since we had a whole day of exploring LA, we started the day bright and early to grab breakfast before we headed on our hike to the Hollywood sign. It was free through our hotel, so we Ubered to our spot to meet our tour guide for the hike. It was around an hour and a half and we got to see lots of amazing spots of the sign and the hills in general.
After our hike, we decided to stop by Doughbriks for pizza. It was a bit of a drive, but we were headed that way anyways. The pizza was great and so were the workers. We also ran into Monique Coleman from High School Musical; she was so sweet. Post-lunch we had an agenda to go to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive so we hopped on a bus. We walked around Beverly Hills and it was so nice outside we decided to walk to Rodeo Drive. Rodeo Drive was nice but we didn’t do much shopping since so many of the stores were luxury brands.
Then, we headed to our stop of the day which was Santa Monica. We explored at some tourist shops and some of the stores that were down a few blocks of Santa Monica. After we did all of our shopping we went to the pier and watched the sunset. Then, we grabbed Mexican food at a local shop and headed back to our hotel where we ended the night with a swim! I’m sad that our trip is coming to an end but so excited to come back to Chicago!
