As we prepare to embark on our voyage as a group to LA, I am taken aback by how blessed that we all are, and how opportunities like this can be provided for us with good intention. As someone who has never been to LA before, I am really excited to discover the ins and outs of the city, from both an experiential and professional standpoint. I am also truly grateful to have the opportunity to meet some really amazing alumni based in the area, and understand the hard work and sacrifice it took to get them to where they are today.

This trip is way more than just a vacation, it’s a valuable extracurricular learning experience that I believe will be enriching to me as a student emerging into the corporate environment. I expect that some soft and technical skills that I will improve on during my time here will serve me long term as well, just like experience. The numerous company office visits we engage with will also strengthen networking and analytical skills, and I am truly looking forward to experiencing the hospitality from our esteemed Quinlan alumni who will be hosting us!

Furthermore, and I believe most importantly, I am ecstatic to grow and learn among other driven and motivated students. This trip will serve as a huge horizontal networking experience, molding my perspective on what other students are also doing to stay connected and on track. With the pinnacle of the trip allowing us in on exclusive opportunities and developing a picture on a broader scale of what the corporate landscape looks like on the West Coast, I am truly excited to see what LA holds in store for us!
