U.S. News & World Report recognizes the Quinlan School of Business as best in Chicago and among the top in the nation through five undergraduate rankings.
The Quinlan School of Business continues to be ranked as the best in Chicago and among the best in the nation, according to the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges ranking.
Top business programs
Quinlan’s undergraduate business program continues to be No. 1 in Chicago, a spot it has held for 12 consecutive years. Nationally, the program is #77 and in the top 15% of undergraduate business schools.
Four additional rankings place Quinlan as the best in Chicago and in the top 25 in the nation:
- International Business: #10 in the nation
- Business Analytics: #16 in the nation. Quinlan builds data-driven decision making throughout all its academic programs and offers bachelor’s degrees specifically in Accounting and Analytics and Information Systems and Analytics.
- Marketing: #22 in the nation
- Accounting: #25 in the nation

The high rankings reflect the transformational and values-based experience Quinlan provides to its students, says Dean Michael Behnam.

Released on September 23, 2025, the U.S. News 2026 Best College rankings for undergraduate business programs are based on peer surveys of deans and senior business faculty around the country. Graduate program rankings are released annually in the spring.
