Campus Activities Network
Supporting Loyola’s Student Organizations
Operating under the supervision of the Center for Student Engagement (CSE), Campus Activities Network (CAN) is a team of student workers dedicated to supporting all student organizations at Loyola University Chicago. We provide resources, programming, and guidance to help your organization thrive on campus.
Please note: Student organizations with departmental sponsorship — which receive services such as space reservations, funding, purchasing, and administrative support through their sponsoring departments — do not work with CAN for those services.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Campus Activities Network (CAN) of Loyola University Chicago is to advocate, represent, and support the university's Student Organizations. The Campus Activities Network will serve the collective interest of the Student Organizations community at Loyola University Chicago. CAN is the primary resource to answer any of your questions/concerns and provide trainings on organizational management.

Do we need to register with CSE every year?
Yes! All student organizations must re-register annually through LUCommunity to operate as an organization and maintain access to services like event submissions, funding, and space reservations. Re-registration typically opens at the end of the spring semester and must be completed before the fall semester deadline. CAN is here to help you through the process!
What is LUCommunity?
LUCommunity is Loyola’s official student organization platform. It’s where you:
- Manage your organization’s roster
- Submit Activity Request Forms
- Recruit membership and promote events
- Manage official and guiding documents for your organization
- Build a community for your organization
- Complete annual registration
- Access resources, updates, and more!
If you have questions about LUCommunity, please click here or contact us via email at can@luc.edu!
What is Activity Request Form?
Activity Request Form (ARF) is a form on LUCommunity, required for all activities managed, hosted, or co-hosted by student organizations, regardless of space reservation or funding needs. This includes both open and closed events (such as internal meetings or member-only gatherings). Please note you have the ability to adjust the visibility as needed.

When do we get our space reservations login?
After your organization completes re-registration in LUCommunity, the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) partners with Campus Reservations to issue your organization’s 25Live login credentials.
These credentials will be sent to the organization email address you provided during re-registration. CSE does not create or assign organization email accounts. Providing an invalid or incorrect email will delay when you receive your login.
To avoid delays:
- Make sure to use an active and accurate organization email during re-registration.
- Stay responsive to CSE communications to ensure the re-registration process is completed.
- Check your organization email regularly for login details.
Please note: Even with 25Live login access, student organizations cannot host events until:
- All required trainings are completed,
- The event complies with University policies, and
- The event does not fall during University holidays or University-wide event dates.
Refer to the Student Organization Handbook for more information!
Can you help us with space reservations?
CAN does not oversee the space reservation process. All space reservations are managed by Campus Reservations through the 25Live system.
If you have questions about available spaces, reservation status, or how to use 25Live, please contact Campus Reservations directly at campus-reservations@luc.edu. You can also click here to review created manual and guides for this process.
That said, CAN is happy to help you understand how space reservations fit into the overall event planning and ARF approval process, and we can point you to helpful resources and policy reminders.
