Global Mentorship Program

The Global Mentorship Program is designed to encourage students to expand their worldviews, improve their intercultural communication skills, make new friends, and increase English competency. To achieve these goals, domestic and international students meet for activities such as exploring a new Chicago neighborhood, grabbing coffee, eating at a restaurant, attending a sporting event, or a movie night. Contact the Loyola English Language Learning Program for more information.

Pre-departure Orientation Programs

Every April and November, SAO hosts a general pre-departure orientation for all Loyola students who will study abroad the following term. If you would like to volunteer at this orientation to speak with fellow Ramblers, please email studyabroad@luc.edu

Study Abroad Fair

Most fall and spring semesters, SAO hosts a study abroad fair designed to promote the study abroad programs available at Loyola. During the fair, hundreds of prospective students attend in the hope of learning more about studying abroad. If you would like to volunteer at the study abroad fair, please email studyabroad@luc.edu

Study Abroad Outreach

Every semester, SAO hosts numerous tabling events, informational sessions, panels, and other study abroad outreach events. If you would like to volunteer for any outreach events, please email studyabroad@luc.edu
